Her passion for storytelling began with a childhood camcorder, led to her first wedding in 2013, the launch of her first business in 2017, and full-time filmmaking in 2023 with the start of Caroline Elizabeth Films.
Capturing your wedding day, surrounded by everyone you love, is both her greatest joy and her highest honor.

Over the years, Maddie has served as an instrumental part of the Caroline Elizabeth team. She carries a warm and lighthearted presence, keeping everyone from vendors to bridesmaids to family members laughing and feeling at ease on the wedding day. Capturing beautiful love stories brings her a distinct joy and she makes each wedding day a little more fun.
Maddie inevitably falls in love with every couple
at every celebration, but has a special connection
with the Carolinas and loves nothing more than a
warm coastal celebration.

Nicole has a heart for adventure, new destinations, and capturing the most emotional moments of a wedding day. Whether she is filming a special dance with a parent, a private exchange of vows, or an unexpected in-between moment, you won't see her with dry eyes very often during a wedding.

Originally from North Carolina and currently based in Colorado, Nicole loves building relationships with couples across the country, and beyond, and getting to know their intimate love stories through filming alongside Caroline.
Ashley's love for filmmaking began with capturing stories for Make a Wish Foundation. During the week, she continues to create heartfelt films for children and their families through the foundation to this day. She is experienced in capturing everything from sports, families, portrait sessions, and of course, weddings.
Since graduating from UNC Chapel Hill,
Ashley has loved filming love stories alongside
Caroline. She brings an unmatched level of service,
professionalism and joy to each couple's day.

ASHLEY
Alex is Caroline's husband and other half, but had a passion for filmmaking long before meeting her. Since 2020, his skillset has extended to capturing wedding days alongside Caroline.

ALEX
As a full time software engineer, Alex is the official behind-the-scenes technology connoisseur in addition to second shooting a select few Caroline Elizabeth weddings per year. One of his favorite parts of a wedding day is operating the drone to capture scenic aerial coverage, so you may see him operating the drone when he is onsite as he obtained his FAA drone license (...before Caroline earned hers, he likes to add).
