The story behind this lovely and classy vow renewal at Oxbow Estate is truly one for the books.
Rebecca and Brian actually got married in March 2020, just DAYS after the start of the pandemic, and I was originally their videographer.
However, due to Covid restrictions, they lost the ability to have most of their guests and vendors at the wedding.
(Despite this hardship, they still made the most of it and had a beautiful day, because of the kind, positive, and resilient humans they are).
Fast forward nearly four years later, to this winter evening at the stunning Oxbow Estate. They have lived through many seasons together, learned many lessons, and even had their sweet baby boy.
In Rebecca’s words, reading the letters from their wedding day was surreal as the words carried a whole new meaning. “It’s like we didn’t know what we were talking about or what we were getting into, going into marriage, but now we know how truly beautiful it has been”.
So thankful they were kind enough to come and model for Tanika Jane Photography and I, and also share sweet moments of re-living the start of their marriage and rekindling those wedding day feelings.
