Nicole & Zach knew they wanted their engagement session to reflect two things: beautiful places they hold dear to their hearts, and the essence of their story.
Nicole & Zach took a major step in their relationship a few years ago when they moved from Florida to Colorado, and they have absolutely loved exploring everything in and around Colorado Springs.
For their session, we were able to capture three wonderful locations:
- Their home in Colorado Springs with their precious dog Luna (who will be incorporated in the wedding)!
- Rocky Mountain National Park, which is the park that holds their favorite hike ever AND the park where they got engaged! We even got to run around in a field right next to the campsite they stayed at when he proposed!
- The Great Sand Dunes, which is another beautiful park within an easy, day-trip drive that they have loved visiting!
Hearing them re-tell their love story from the perspective of this unique moment of time, in the midst of their engagement, was absolutely beautiful and I loved piecing it together through this film. Their wedding will also be in the mountains (but, in Tennessee, since their families are on the east coast). You cannot take these two away from the mountains and I absolutely love their adventurous hearts!
